Remembering Mummy Oma
Dear Friends, As some of you know, Mummy Oma, my mother Oma I Marketto, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. While there is sadness beyond measure in my heart, there is also the joy of knowing she is celebrating with Jesus and with her loved ones in heaven. God was merciful and answered prayers beyond my expectations. Mom was a great influence and supporter of Omie's Home in thoughts, deeds and prayers. She was a faithful financial supporter as well and each month tithed to our home, making sure our children had a place to live and food. She loved our children and families there and they her. She will be greatly missed.
Please continue to pray for me and my family as we walk through the grieving process.
Our Scripture reference for Omie's Home is Nahum 1:7
"The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And he knows those who take refuge in him."
I am so glad He is my refuge.
We prayed Psalm 91 over my Mom while in the hospital, not knowing until the eve of her funeral service that this was also a special verse for her. She had it marked in her Bible and wrote "live in the shelter" and " my refuge"... she did a complete study and claimed this Psalm as her own.
Thank You Jesus for giving me a mother who loved You and taught her children and those in our home in India to love You too.
Under His Wings,
